Players who live in and around the Wauwatosa West School District or who plan on attending Wauwatosa West High School. Register for the grade level that your child will be entering for the 2026-2027 school year.

Yes. We are a feeder program for Wauwatosa West High School. We prioritize students within that boundary; however, teams are able to complete their roster with students from surrounding communities.

Players should have all basic baseball tools, including glove, hat, helmet, bat, cleats and a full water bottle. It is highly recommended to wear baseball pants for sliding on turf, and sliding shorts are also an option. Please do not wear team gear from any select teams if possible. If your recruit is a catcher and has their own gear, please bring.  Please note that Breitlow and West Softball are both turf fields, so no metal cleats, seeds, gum or sugary drinks are allowed. 

The Jr. Trojans Baseball Club is a SELECT program. Players must try out for a team. A panel of coaches will conduct player tryouts in July for the following season. Players will be evaluated on speed, agility, defensive skills, hitting, attitude, effort, and knowledge of the game.

Player fees will be determined on a year to year basis depending upon fundraising success, equipment needs, uniform costs, tournament entry fees, and practice facility rental. We strive to keep our registration fees low while providing a valuable experience for our players and families. We are happy to offer one of the most affordable baseball programs in the area. The 2026-2027 player fee will be $760.00.

This fee includes:

• Uniforms (Jersey, Pants, Belt, Cap, & Batting Helmet)

• Personalized Baseball Backpack in 4th Grade

• Indoor Practice Facility (Jan-April)

• 14-18 League Games

• 1-3 Tournaments

Players are expected to attend the majority of scheduled practices, games and tournaments. Indoor winter practices take place once per week beginning in January. As the season begins—typically in mid to late April—players should plan for a commitment of several days per week, including both games and practices, continuing through mid to late July.
